  1. Looks like the kind of midfielder we need. Haven't had a player playing CM with a bit of flair in a while. Would fit nicely along side Mikel and Essien in a few years
  2. Never thought I would ever see the whole stadium doing the bouncy... immense stuff. Was good to hear every stand for a change
  3. Hi to everyone. Chelsea fan from Croydon, South London. Been going regularly with my dad since '97 when I was 5. Got a season ticket now in the Matthew Harding Lower and try to get to as many away games as my student finances can afford.
  4. Andre Agassi's Autobiography, great read and some amazing revelations about how he hated tennis and how he grew up as a younster with tennis as his life
  5. Never going to happen, what a load of rubbish. My brother's a die hard Palace fan and said it would be terrible if he was to ever buy the club
  6. His kick is immense and every GK fluffs the odd kick, especially with the weaker foot but even with that he genrally kicks the ball way past the halfway line. The best kicker of the ball is definatly Paul Robinson, scored with that goal a few seasons back and is Sam Allardyce's dream at Blackburn with all that root one footy he plays. Straight up to Samba from about 20 yards in his half
  7. If Jose goes there and turns it into his team they could be an unstoppable force, personally I think he might go to Spain, he hasn't been there yet, maybe R.Madrid if they don't win the league. Heard a few names linked with the United job... Capello, Martin O'Neill, Hiddink, Guardiola and outsider Moyes
  8. Kakuta's got plenty of time to show what he can do in the 1st team but right now I think he's too young to be ahead of Kalou in the pecking order. Kakuta does bring something different to the pitch that we lack, a creative player who likes to take players on, we haven't had one of them since the days of Robben and Duff. You could say Joe Cole but he hasn't been on his game recently.
  9. He's now got a reputation as a dodgy keeper but he rarely makes mistakes but when he does make them they're highlighted more than other keepers. He makes so many crucial saves and I still think he's one of the best in the world. Although my opinion could be slightly bias as I'm a GK. Let's hope he can follow in Van Der Sar's footsteps and carrry on strong into his late 30's/early 40's.
  10. He's got the ability but one of the most frustrating players to ever have played for us. Amazing in the Dutch league but not good enough to be 1st team regualr at Chelsea
  11. The price we have to pay for success I guess. They should definatly do student prices for anyone with an NUS card, how am I meant to afford £695 with a part time job? Personally I reckon it's got something to do with Ron Gourlay, we don't get free away trains anymore either which was a perk under Kenyon
  12. Very excited by Patrik Van Aanholt, the only problem is he has 2 of the best LB in the Prem ahead of him. Zhirkov's looked very good filling in for Ash and it's difficult to see when Van Aanholts going to get his oppurtunity
  13. I think we should keep him. If we loan him out he's still not guarenteed 1st team football for any premiership side. I reckon if he stays and trains against top class strikers and learns from 3 top class cb's then that's better than being loaned to a championship side. He could be a utility player, cover for CB, RB, DM and maybe LB
  14. I'm not liking the red trim or the colour of the GK kit. We should keep it simple, something retro would be nice I think our home kit last season was the best in a while
