lol, that Leicester squad could make up almost all my 2020 shopping list, just would have to settle for an ageing striker for backup and then settle for a non top 10 CB (although Söyüncü has top 20 potential and is already doing so well in the EPL), plus  they have no wingers I remotely want, though and that is a big need for us, Demarai Gray has been a huge disappointment so far, as I thought 3 years ago or so he had EPL starter written in his future

Back-up GK Kasper Schmeichel (he would NEVER accept back-up now, though, but he would instantly be the best back-u keeper in the world, at least for 3 or so years)

CB Caglar Söyüncü IF he keeps progressing  (although I REALLY want one out of Ibrahima Konaté or  José Giménez or Milan Skriniar or Alessio Romagnoli or Raphaël Varane or maybe Rúben Dias)

LB Chillwell a MUST buy

RB Ricardo Pereira IF we sell Azpi he would be a superb grab

DMF Wilfred Ndidi (although I would rate Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid top target  (and his release clause is a crazy low £45m) or go complete youth/potential superstar and grab Eduardo Camavinga  or Florentino, or Sandro Tonali, although I think the club wants Declan Rice, who I am not yet sold on, although he was a monster the last game I watched him play)

Backup CF Jamie Vardy (he turns 33  in 10 weeks, so cannot expect to start, although he will start, probably, next year for Leicester, so a hard pull, and no way would I pay a lot, as it is madness to pay a tonne of quid for a player who turns 34 in the middle of next season)

wingers are the big miss from them, IF they upgrade there and keep the rest (minus Chilwell who will go surely) and grab another CB and a striker (young one) they are top 4 potential even more than now

Leicester will 95% beat Arsenal at The King Power next week, meaning a win against Palace can potentially see us go 9 points ahead of any realistic top four challenger (that's outside the top four).

Even at this early stage that would be huge.

damn maybe we should have bought Jamie vardy for that 30m back then in 2016. 3 years on til lthen, the guy is turning 33 in 2 months and no show of decline.... not playing at top level till 28 clearly prolonged his career.

Palace have been absolutely poor tho. Roy had no better ideas than camping all his 6'3 dudes in the leicester box burnign their energy going up and down the putch every time giving leicester enough time to recover and organize themselves. Would be disappointed if we can not go there and beat the convincingly as well. Leicester are very clever and mature tho. When has Rodgers learned how to defend?
