So I watched it today and what an amazing movie it is, I gotta admit that even though Bane and the Joker are totally different from each other, Tom Hardy deserves the same praise as Heath Ledger did, and what an amazing ending, I won't lie, I got goosebumps. Anne Hathaway is by the way freaking hot!

Once again Nolan took my breath away. That man cannot make a bad movie. I don't know about others but I think TDK Rises was as good as TDK. In some ways even better. Truly and incredible end to an increidlbe trilogy. One of the best trilogies ever made.

I liked this one more than TDK. I have always preferred Begins to the sequel, but they are all brilliant films.

Bane was awesome. Just awesome. After the complexities of Ra's al-Ghul, Scarecrow, Joker and Two-Face, to see this type of villain being the true match for the Batman was quite exciting.

Childish, yes, but still great fun. However Nolan's films are generally better in terms of action and entertainment.

I fear anyone going to watch this will end up disappointed because it has been hyped so much. However it moreorless justifies the expectation.

I saw this in IMAX the other day, everything was on a grand scale in this movie, the perfect end to the franchise. Bane is a better 'villain' than The Joker, in the sense that I was 'rooting' for Batman. In the last movie I felt indifferent towards Batman, almost as if ‘as a viewer’ I wanted The Joker to come out on top. Bane also seemed genuinely invincible & unbeatable, which made the fight scenes even more thrilling.

*Spoiler*....

In regards to the typical Nolan (Inception style) ending. If Alfred 'really' was going to fantasise seeing him, surely he’d see kids too. In the early scenes of the film he mentions wife & ‘kids‘, so if he was daydreaming and Batman 'is' dead, then surely it would be exactly how he depicted at the start of the film.

A better end, for me, would have been Alfred just raising his glass, rather than showing Bruce and Selina. Then it is up to the viewer to decide whether he is toasting the pair or not.

Also, the thing with Blake being called 'Robin' and finding the location of the Batcave... it just didn't fit. It was a bit of a cop-out. No pun intended. It just devalues the film's moral by inferring Batman was instantly replaced.

Those are my only gripes with what is otherwise a perfect, epic film.

The twist at the end was great too, the scar on Miranda's back hinted towards it (and the fact she played a villain in Nolan's last movie). Nevertheless, I wasn't expecting it, purely because Bane genuinely seemed like the mastermind behind it all.
