It's not really a joke per say! Just that a man was thinking of cracking a joke himself but his friends trolled him!

I laughed too and I found some part of it funny, but there must be some English reference to the Irish Stu that I didn't get. I guess that's the root of my issues understanding it. But some of the things the others said were funny although I wouldn't care less if I were the guy and would actually fuel it
