Think youre getting confused. Pubs etc have 'cheesy chips' sometimes, which are 'fries' as you call them with melted cheese on, but have never seen nachos called anything but nachos.

In the light of TOPTBs several versions of events, and the Gwyneth Paltrow tearful oscar awards goodbye, I'd just like to put mine and the staffs' portrayal of events.

He had made some good posts about Chelsea, but when talking about Iraq he brought up the same old stereotypes of islam of female genital mutilation-several times. (Something that hadnt happened in Iraq). This was becoming tedious, and I told him so. He then offered to "meet me so I could say it to his face". If someone says that, i dont know about your World, but where i have been that means a fight. I asked him if that was the case, he said No. For the record, I have no problem "meeting him" -just have no desire to. He then kept PMing me saying I was "scared" " can hide behind my keyboard if I want" etc. I started to ignore his PMs, and he starts saying the same things in threads, a couple of his posts I deleted, because they were childish and inflammatory. He persisted.

Now, I have been a Mod for 10 years and never warned anyone, preferring to let people be adult about situations, but he wouldnt let it lie, and I gave him 5 warning points. He then PMd other staff complaining. It turns out hes offered to " meet " 3 other staff when hes had a disagreement previously, every time immediately donating to the forum, when hes realised hes gone too far. To cut to the chase, staff had a democratic poll as to whether he should be banned as these situations could not continue. It was a fairly unanimous vote by staff.

A shame, but I dont think he ever liked to admit he was wrong, and hopefully we can move the forum on in parallel with Chelseas success on the pitch.
