No, it is just a very different accent with some weird expressions. But it is not hard to understand. You can actually see a lot of interviews between Ronaldo and Kaka on Youtube, where they each speak their own respective languages...As different as it can be, it is still Portuguese!

It is all the same language for a reason! :P

Pretty much this. But I must say the accent is really, really different. Not like british english which is almost like american english but classier. Portuguese people speak with quite different intonation, speed and they've got a few different words for the same things too.

I am awake watching switched USA (which is not up my street may I add), watching some kid do Highland dancing, its quite funny because I don't even know how to do Highland dancing and I live in the Highlands but they are forcing this kid to learn how to do it for a challenge.

Why are you awake at this time? Its like 6:20 AM I have got school soon, well 2 periods of tech studies in the afternoon but still I am going to be fucked when it comes to getting up.

Not all Brits speak a "classier" sounding English than Americans! My accents is so muddled people cannot tell where I am from... LOL
