TEAM NEWS: Chelsea V MANCHESTER CITY

Florent Malouda continues at left-back, while Joe Cole is recalled behind Didier Drogba.

With Yury Zhirkov still sidelined with a calf complaint and Ashley Cole out for three months, Carlo Ancelotti keeps faith with the Frenchman who impressed at Inter on Wednesday.

Elsewhere Hilario stands in for Petr Cech in goal, while Manchester City have Carlos Tevez back after compassionate leave. Former Blue Wayne Bridge is at left-back and Shaun Wright-Phillips is on the bench.

Chelsea are expected to line-up in the following 4-3-2-1 formation:
