Great game by Chelsea, nice to see Sturridge get his third Chelsea goal, he has a brilliant striker finisher instinct. Man of the match is John Terry for me.

Preston didn´t make it easy for us - good performace by PNE to be fair.

BUT we have been efficient enough. Glad Sturridge scored again, could´ve had one or two more, but doesn´t matter in the end.

Now conentrate on the Premier League again.

Yeh that werent easy but we got the result in the end.Had a horrible feeling that goal we got not counted due to the whistle going was gana be our only one with our luck and all but thank god!!

Nice getting a solid victory away. You could certainly see in the way we played that we got an important game coming up in the midweek. Playing on half machine much of the time, and when we dobled our lead the cruise-control striked in.

Some positives:

- We won without using too much energy.

- Deco played quite well after he switched to the defensive role at midfield.

- Once again Anelka steps up in the absence of Didier Drogba.

- Clean-sheet. We've been struggling not to concede goals.

Negatives:

- Belletti and Lampard was limping around before they were substituted. Didn't look too serious though, I hope it's not.

- We were leading 2-0 and had good control for a while. A bit dissapointed that neither Matic, van Aanholt or Borini got some valuable minutes.

Not much to be sad about today. Good game.

Just got back from the game (the joys of going to uni round the corner from Deepdale!). Some good atmosphere down in our end, and we played well, they didnt make it overly easy for us. Glad to see Sturridge and Anelka on the scoresheet!

Hopefully Lamps sub was just a precaution, he was limping abit before being taken off and something wasnt right but hopefully its nothing serious.

Good performance, We changed formation in the middle of the game and its not always easy to do that. Two lucky goals you could say. Carlo really pissed me off today. We could have put Matic in the holding role, and atleast given Borini a few minues when we had one sub left. We need to give these kids some playing time.
