yeah I told so last season when he had his second damaged knee but ppl where jumping at my back because how dare could I sell the bison who is better than our other midfielders because... he's the bison...

seriously I fuck'n love essien and hope so much he overcomes all this and was going to shine for us again like 2007/2008... but I cant see it happen if this is true...

Until people realise that not every midfielder can have the longevity of Pavel nedved or seedorf. we would continue to hold on to players that no longer add significant value to the team.

You have to wonder, what this could mean for the club...

I mean how will it affect our transfer targets...will it affect our chase for an attacking CM?

I thought we were well covered regarding defensive CM's, with Ramires, Mikel, Essien and Josh(if you can count him as one)...but Mikel doesn't exactly have the history of being fit throughout the season,

and Ramires can't really be used in a "holding" role...neither can you say the same for Josh...
