Unbeaten record over after 4 years and 8 months (86 Games). This record will probably not be beaten.

Yep, was sensational tbh. Shame it werent 100 but you can't ask for too much in the best and toughest league in the world. Also a bit shit that it was Liverpool but when we win at anfield to go top it will be the best revenge anyway. I'm glad the record is off our backs, we can play with a bit more freedom at home now perhaps. Our away form is fantastic.

so come on chels´, settle for the next record

maybe a straight record of non-beaten away-games or something

or a new home record :)

the team can play more releaved now, i guess

not having the record in mind, but the earning of points

"2004/2005

Just look at the 05/06 season. Charlton i will forever hate you. They are the only team to take a point off us that season at the bridge. Played 19, won 18 drew 1. Thats quite annoying actually come to think of it. That Marcus Bent debut header.

Sometimes losing aint a bad thing, we drew too many last season at home. Had the best away record, unbeaten at home and we still came 2nd. Lost 3, utd lost 5. It takes a loss to start a winning streak and to be a wake up call.

At the end of the day, i prefer winning the league losing 5 games with 85 points than being unbeaten with 92 points and being 2nd by a point for example

I was at the Arsenal game 4 1/2 years ago. Never for the life of me would I have thought we would go 86 games unbeatern after that day.

A proud feeling and a sensational statistic but it is the memories of some of those home games that make it truely special. Numbers 7, 24, 25, 42, 44, 77, 78 and 81 were very memorable.
