Are Bayern such a rich club ?
We beat them in 2012, now it looks as if we are two divisions below them.

They have money and invest it in good quality.

We have money, but we invest it in a bunch of medicore players like Barkley, Alonso, Pedro.

That's why Bayern is better.

you have to understand (maybe you do)

FFP was put into place to protect FIVE teams

Barca

Real

Juve

Manure

Bayern

Roman buying a WC team in 2 years or so FREAKED out all of Europe and the big 5 said FUCK THAT

Shitty and PSG (hopefully with PSG) are now being brought low when they tried to pull a Chels

Bayern were always expected to win this over two legs but it would have been nice if we had set up more competently (the team don't look defensively well drilled at all, even taking the individual disasters into account) and made it difficult for them. A little pragmatism would not have hurt.

Now the shit part is, we still have the 2nd leg to play. Can we just forfeit it and take the 3-0 loss?

How to approach the 2nd leg? Play crazy football to actually score some goal, play safe football to avoid a humiliation? A repeat of the Wolves away game will just do nicely. :cig:

or lose 3-0 automatically by forfeit lol

That team we played today has such an impressive understanding of each other and what they're trying to do as a team (offensively in particular).  We just seem like we're winging it most of the time.

Bit of a shocker from Rudiger today not sure I've ever seen him play that bad.  We have a lot of work to do.  And if nothing else just to regain an identity as a club...

Pedro was a good player for Barca, before 2014 - the year they signed Suarez from 'pool.
For us not so great.
Barkley looks the type some clever manager could turn into a defender. But otherwise no Chelsea material.

That second half was a disaster. Our defence was horrible, one of Bayern players was always completely alone in the attack. Only Kovacic and Mount were playing good. We did not do any pressing, with the exception of Mount.

Although we had some pretty good chances in the attack, but we were useless as usual. Tammy`s form went down the drain in the last month. Giroud should now be our first choice of striker.

Bayern being the kings of Germany allows them to simply pick and choose pretty much any top talent or player from other German clubs. They see a player they like, they make their interest known, and that player is then desperate to move there.

They're even able to go to their most direct rival for the title like Doetmund and steal their best players away. Same thing happens with Juventus.

This is a huge advantage some clubs have that simply isn't possible in t he PL.

They're nothing but an Ogliarch that buy all the top talent in their division, try having to worry about playing rival after rival and a big game every few weeks.

That's it. 2-0 or even 2-1 wouldnt have been so bad but 3. I cant see us scoring 1 never mind 3. Or 4 if wana win. That's without them scoring.

True but it does n't look as if  the FFP limit is our problem at this stage.

We could have been better tactically I feel, just dont give them space, they had tons of those. In any case we are done, lets grab them 3pts next game and get that top 4 so we can see what this pathetic board is made of.

Reece James by a country mile the worst in the pitch.

I dont know untill when the myth that Mount, Abraham and James are great will last.

Three defenders, three goals conceded three mistakes.

First one azpi slip, second one Ruediger failed with offside trap and last but not least, that sliding tackle by Christiansen.

Trio fantastico
