We beat them in 2012, now it looks as if we are two divisions below them.

They absolutely dominated us then. More than this game just it was a pure beautiful night where the stars aligned and we had Didier.

Bayern have always been a top team in Europe so we aren't that much different than we were. Squad needs work but we have known that for the last couple of years. Young team will take time plus we need reinforcements in key areas.

We're gonna beat them 4-1 at the Allianz so don't worry

Not really.
They were lucky back then to qualify against poor Mourinho's Real and have the final at home.
But since then they have made good progress whereas we at the European level are going backwards.
The Europa against the gooners does n't count of course. We played against one opponent to win that. One half of an opponent was Eintracht another half was Arsenal, total one.

Bayern being the kings of Germany allows them to simply pick and choose pretty much any top talent or player from other German clubs. They see a player they like, they make their interest known, and that player is then desperate to move there.

They're even able to go to their most direct rival for the title like Doetmund and steal their best players away. Same thing happens with Juventus.

This is a huge advantage some clubs have that simply isn't possible in the PL.
