He played the first half. He put it right on the foot of Ajax strike only to have him fumble it right in front of the goal twice. I missed the first 15 minutes, they had a penalty kick at 13 minutes and when they were chatting about it they said the foul was earned by Ziyech. *(It wasn't Ziyech that earned the goal. Game just ended and they are showing the replays) I have not seen the replay. He has made several beautiful long passes and has taken several corners putting the ball right in front of the goal.

 

They brought him on at the end of the last game and now a half for this game. I bet he is full game in their next game. He came out at halftime to collect an award, but no audio.

The more you see how Ajax deals with transfers, arrival and generaly handles their football stuff reminds you why we started watching football.

Personal terms finally agreed. 5-year contract.

It was announced earlier this month that a deal had been reached with Ajax for the 26-year-old’s signature, subject to the player agreeing personal terms.

On agreeing those terms, Ziyech said: ‘I am delighted and proud to have signed for such a huge club as Chelsea. I am looking forward to next season and hope we can achieve great things together.’

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia added: ‘We are delighted Hakim will be joining us in the summer, having been a key target of the club’s in this last window. He has consistently been one of the most dangerous attacking players in Europe in recent years, which we saw first-hand in our two games against Ajax in the Champions League.

‘We wish Hakim and Ajax all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to welcoming him to Stamford Bridge in the summer.’
