If he doesn't win at least 6 of these 10 games, he needs to be sacked

simple as that

if we beat SOTON, Brighton, Forest, Burnley and Newcastle

but lose to Spuds, Arse (TWICE), Leicester, and Manure

he needs to be sacked

simple as that

in fact

IF he loses the next four

he needs to sacked

losing 8 out of 9 is sacking time here

Happy New Year!!

sorry, but he looks to be out of his depth

Sacked?

Who should be his replacement? hahaha
Emery ?^^

Even Pep can't save this team.
Sarri for instance had the luck to have prime Hazard.

Lamps improved Kova, Puli and Tammy.
Players like Zouma Azpi and also Rüdiger are finished Products. You can't make them better technicaly. Pep would sell all those players.

We need a new RW and CB asap. Ziyech or Sancho as a RW and a good CB. I would Take Romagnoli now

There was always a huge risk that FL would be out of his depth, he is a novice lets be real. I just hope he is learning from all this or indeed he will be sacked. He needs to watch out. Poch is free, so is Allegri and Carlo and im sure so is Simeone come summer. He needs to try other ideas, other tactics etc. Lose a couple more while playing shit and its likely game over.

I know Lampard is still inexperienced but aren't people beating him a little too much with that 'stick'? Like isn't that too convenient? I mean we had experienced managers in the past who made decisions that had no sense whatsoever, that were baffling etc.

Ancelotti tended to make subs late on and tactically can be found wanting (this was a manager who got outwitted by Dalglish and Hodgson!). Benitez consistently made like-for-like subs and rarely changed formation. Mourinho kept sticking with Ivanovic, even when he was going downhill, kept on ranting against everyone else, kept playing defensively most of the time. Conte hardly changed from his back 3 formation. Sarri consistently made like-for-like subs (Barkley for Kovacic or Kovacic for Barkley, remember?).

Reappointing Carlo or even bringing in Simeone would kill our chances of winning a league title any time soon, the formers won 4 in over two decades managing elite sides and the latter can't win it up against caricature versions of Barca and Real.

There ain't a snowball in hell's chance that they will have the consistency to keep up with Pep and Klopp, even if Lampard ultimately doesn't prove good enough with the way he's operating and thinking ahead he will leave a team that could hit that level with someone who is.

So said many about Conte.....we cant know what the likes of Poch and Simeone will bring to Chels. CA I give.

All I know is this is not good, now im not saying sack Lamps, he will get till the summer unless Things are looking way out of hand. We have suddenly dropped our tempo ALOT and reverted to sariiball.

Not picking up max points v Norwich, West Ham, Sheffield United, Everton, Bournemouth is very bad. Forget the results v big teams. Regardless of the manager. Could look back in the summer, having missed out on the top 4 because of these sort of games not picking up maximum points. Thats the stark reality. If that ends up being the case, Frank will have to take some of the stick, we all knew what we were getting from his time at Derby where they only managed X amounts of clean sheets. January cant come soon enough to give us a few other options in certain areas. We know we needed this so the real test is trying to regain form to the window and then maybe get one or two in to raise the level. Still optimistic about top 4 but United and Spurs have upper their level and will probably buy in January. Arsenal are still lingering and have the fire power to climb the table. Leicester as well are gonna be in about the top 4 for sure. Even if they drew today. Theyve amassed enough points so far to show this. We have got 6 losses so far this season. So do Palace to put that into perspective. With Spurs and Arsenal coming up who knows what could happen next few weeks.

Norwich? We beat them at Carrow Road.

Other Top 4 rivals have also dropped points against smaller teams, TBF. So ours and their results may even themselves out come end of the season. BUT what we need to start doing is winning the six-pointers against United, Arsenal, Spurs etc. If we don't beat them or even draw against them, then we have no chance for the Top 4 because we have to rely on others to take points off them.

interim manager

if he doesn't hit those benchmarks

he needs to go

especially if he loses the next 4

we will fuck about and not even get EL

you do realise that if he loses the next 4

he will have lost to West Ham (at home), barely beaten a dregs Villa team (at home), lost to relegation-zone Everton, lost to  Bournemouth (with half of their best players not playing) (at home), SOTON, and Brighton (at home)

we have kept 4 clean sheets out of 26 games (5 out of 32 if you count preseason, and that extra one was against a pub side (St Patricks)

Brighton, Newcastle, and Palace are our league clean sheets, Ajax  the other

we have won ONE game (that Ajax game) against good teams this year outside the EPL and one win (Wolves) against a decent league team (and wolves will likely be 7th or worse, unless we too crash out of the top 7 (which so can happen)

we have given up more goals though 17 games than any EPL Chels side in history

and now we cant score against dregs (last 3 EPL games a total of ONE GOAL from all 3, against West Ham, relegation-zone Everton, and Bournemouth)

so yes

if he loses the next 4

it is the sack for me, sorry, I m not willing to shit away the team's season at that point

take away that Ajax game (that is the game so much of his false dawn is based upon) and the Wolves win

and he has done FUCKALL in terms of winning results against decent sides

and has had multiple horrific loses or draws at home (as well as away)

we have ZERO points in the league all season from a losing position

no, not yet but if he does what I said (or worse) then yes

he should go

IF he loses the next 4, doesn't get sacked, we could be looking at 13 out of 14 league losses, and at best 11 losses out of 14, with the only 2 new wins versus Burnley and Newcastle (following what conditions I laid out)

I was very specific in what I said

what it would take to earn him the sack

Well said! I hope one way or another he gets tactical 'Eureka!' moments, but after watching today's game, I truly can't help but feel that he is a false dawn, that he's very limited tactically, and strategically with regards to how to use players effectively.

Conte unlike those two is a league specialist and most crucially wasn't up against two freak of nature sides.

And personally I wouldn't want a short term hit again, even if it was for a title, we've done the title then collapse three times now, I'd happily wait for a while if we have a more sustainable model to build on.

which is exactly what my sacking post was talking about

if what I laid out (on that and the reply after it) doesn't start to qualify for way out of hand (especially IF we lose the next 4 and keep ploughing ahead and blow most of the rest, or even all) then I would hate to see what people's idea of out of hand is

I would only turn if we have a sustainable hit of performances like today.

Other than that I think we have to rid these punches.

So you expected from Lamps that he makes Top 4 at the beginning of the Season? Even though he does not have prime Hazard in our team ? You know that we would not have made Top 4 last Season without Hazard and the bad form of Spurs and Arsenal at the end of the Season right ?

People need to see the bigger picture and think long term. We had so many Short term Managers and with huge Transfer Budgets and they all lost their jobs.
So do you really think that we would make Top 4 with Pep or with Klopp at the start of the Season ? Because I don't think that.
Klopp had the luck that Pool fans fell in Love with him and he had the backing of the Board with all the Transfers he needed.
Lamps is our biggest Legend with JT and he does not get the Time from the fans...
Look at what United have now gained with the Trust to Ole. They have Top class attack and it is getting better and better long term. United give him the Time and money to Build. Lamps did not have a Transfer period to begin with. Sarri got Jorgi... While Lamps lost Hazard and could Not sign new players, his opponents were buying new players.

With prime Hazard still with us, we would have won today. Hazard was a game changer for us.

Last Season we also had RLC who was a Beast. Lamps does not even have him.

I criticise Lamps for picking Azpi Mount Willian, but I know how hard Top 4 under these circumstances is and I highly Doubt that Pep would make Top 4 under those circumstances either.

I know most Chelsea fans don't care about long term success, but I do and I know what a difficult job Lamps has. Chelsea fans in this forum think he manages Barcelona

my post speaks for itself

we are not only losing against shit teams

we are failing in most metrics

play shit defence

now cannot score

and have one win in the league all year versus any sort of decent team

and that one Ajax fluke win

I am not saying top 4 is a must or even likely

but I also am not saying 8th or 9th (or dog forbid, worse) which is where we are heading if we do not unfuck ourselves, is remotely acceptable
