If we don't get a ban we must sign a top LB (Gaya?) and promote James to first Xl, if we do we should do everything we can to recall Aina for LB.

The striker issue is well documented but full backs with better end product and this tie would have been won at canter even with Giroud's shit show, the amount of times Azpi and Emerson killed attacks was painful, the latter has a worse final ball than Adama.

Back when Lamps and Drogs were ours there was not even the possibility that we could lose to arsenal in a final. We would always crush them in important matches

I think the only players in our XI that should be 100% safe going into next season are the midfield 3 of Kante/Jorginho/RLC, Rüdiger and Kepa. Hazard is going and I'd happily see everyone else either be sold or made permanent squad players.

As sad as it is to see with two of our fan favorites, Luiz and Azpi have declined dramatically this season. Players like Willian and Pedro should also be bench players as they would for any of the other top clubs.

If we can sign players we need a striker, at least 1 new fullback, we need a commanding, ball playing CB, we need a Hazard replacement, and maybe another midfielder. 

That Sarri says we need maybe 1 or 2 new players is scary as fuck.

we defo need to get a new lb. but if we cant i would really try to give baba one last chance. he cant be much worse than alonso or emerson. Emerson is actually a very fine footballer. just no leftback if we are honest. sumblime pace and dribbling but not an expert defender. Alsono probably would have been a decent midfielder in the 80ies as well when his lack of pace wouldnt matter.

Anyway. i have not seen much of Gaya recent years but today vs Arsenal he was an absolute trainwreck, just saw the re-live of their match. pathetic defender and also got booked for an incredibly shitty dive.

I though striker is our biggest problem but after watching United literally gave our fb red carpet by playing diamond yet they struggled big time to create anything. It was ridiculous.
