Lampard, bar today, is also quite shite at them. Drogba has a fear factor about his, Ronaldo went like 3 seasons without scoring from an FK for Real before breaking that this season. Mata's sensational at finding the post lol, but I'd rather trust Drogba than Lampard with them.

When it comes to set pieces he needs to let Frank or Mata step up. I know that he's a beast at free kicks, but he just blasts them over the net every. single. time.

Better him then Lamps. When Drogba takes a FK it looks dangerous, when Lamps does it it's usually nothin'...

of course, Lamps' FK today was...I'm speachless.

Notice how he is always here when it matters. Valencia home, Napoli home, today... Needs to start against Barça.

Agreed. Start with Drogba and if it's clearly not working then bring on Torres in the second half. Torres can start against Arsenal next weekend.

We really don't have a Fk specialist in our squad, do we?

I really miss Ballack's FKs.

That tells me you haven't watched a lot of his fk's. Of late he's been slamming more into the wall.

Hardly better, I know, but at least state facts rather than just something to validate your points.

Anyways, well done DD. I will never forget your contributions this season.

Drogba deserves to start against Barcelona but to be fair,I am not sure Torres got even a single touch yesterday. He did get one but that was in the dying moments of the game and the whistle had blown,so to his defense you really can't blame him.

Drogba can destroy who he likes, when he likes. Shame he doesn't bother with the league anymore. Start him against Barcelona, use him as a battering ram to do bugger all but shatter Pique and Puyol's strength reserves. Then bring on Torres after an hour to keep him fresh for the Arsenal game, where again he'll have to score his customary double vs the scum and then be subbed off on the hour to keep him fresh for the Camp Nou.
