as i had stated on the first page of this thread it was said by Jeff Stelling on Soccer Saturday.the fact that D.D`s P.R. company came out and made a statement denying the rumours clearly shows that there were rumours out there to deny, rather than myself just making it up.

only lil cry babies would say members should be banned for something as minor as reporting on what they had heard on a t.v sports show.

if sharing rumours heard that turn out to be untrue at this time is a banning offence then many more members would have been banned before me.

A funn/sad thing just come to my mind. Last season RVP got topscorer with 30 goals, 3 more than rooney. He also won the player of the year award. Arsenal won - surprise surprise - zero trophies that season, ManUtd did finish emptyhanded, too. In 2010 Drogba scored 29 goals also 3 more than Rooney. Utd did not win anything, Rooney got player of the year nonetheless, whilst we won the double. Now tell me there are no double standards

So what's going on here?, I'm confused, has he left Shanghai or is he staying there?.

The majority owner wanted some more control or something, didn't want to pay Drogba + Anelka's wages, but apparently the issue is cleared up and both will stay.

Have you guys seen this? Not great quality but Incredible stuff.

PS: Apologies if it's a re-post.

Thanks for posting this.

Most of this is coverd in his book , but it was good to see some of the pictures to go with it. I would love him to bring a new autobigrophy out , adding the rest of his career as it would be nice to see what he has to say about Chelsea now.

After watching you realise how important he was to our sucess and if Torres had half his passion he could achive the same.

  • 3 weeks later...

Let's hope for DD's sake he gets to lift the African Cup of Nation's this time...losing twice on penalties is just cruel, his miss from the spot against Egypt in 2006 was heartbreaking enough...losing to Zambia despite scoring must have been even more frustrating for the man..then again he has always been one to take it on the chin...

That was rather emotional. Shame it's 5 years old, i'd live to see a newer one. I can't say enough about him, i love him and i miss him so much. He's a true living legend and my only wish now is to see him win the African cup of Nations. i want them to win it so much, you would not believe. If there is a God, DD will lift that trophy one day. Those video's were fantastic. What a man. I'm sure he's happy he came to Chelsea now lol but he shoulda gone back to Marseille after us or gone to the USA. I'm sure he still has a lot more to offer the game.
