I watched this film yesterday evening. Ben stiller is too much, but Robert Downey Jr is brilliant.

Earlier I've thought that it's a boring film, but now I think it was a pleasant and funny movie.

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (2011)

I haven't seen the 2009 original version of this, but judging from the reviews of the 2009 version, 2011 is superior. Dark moments, rape/violence etc, overall a sublime stylistic investigative, suspenseful, thriller movie.

I just watched Chronicle. A great film that has some extreme similarities to a 1988 Japanese Animé film 'Akira'. It's uses the 'shaky cam' 1st person technique to perfection, I have never seen it used so perfectly. Forget Cloverfield and Rec, Chronicle raises the standards of the 'shaky cam' genre. It's quite a dark film that explores what happens when three teenaged boys are given superpowers, or telekinesis to be exact. They don't pull some bullshit like dressing up and becoming superheroes, they just scew around with it and some things don't turn out as planned.

watching thor. started watching all the marvel avengers-related movies. started with iron man 1 and 2, the incredible hulk, now thor. still have captain america and then finally, avengers.

was not into superhero movies that much, especially marvel ones, i was more a batman-superman kind of guy, but i must say, these ones are quite alright, if you're in the mood for action movies.
