3 wins out of three, but I am far from happy with our defence. David Luiz is just not good enough, replace him with Christensen

Luiz could have cost us today big time, too many mistakes for this level, bench him pls

Alonso what an amazign start to the season 1 goal 3 assists, 2 of those were match winning contributions.

I correct myself its 4 assists 1 goal. pen vs huddersfield, goal and assist vs arsenal, penalty today and forcing the own goal today

man our stats this season are simply mind boggling, what a contrast to previous seasons, exciting times indeed

Dunno about exciting times ahead. Nerve wracking maybe with our shaky defence

I swear Yedlin and Diame each had about 10 fouls and I don't think either was booked. Ridiculous.

As for us, I don't think anyone had a poor game. Morata I guess if we're being very critical, but he was surrounded by 4 players at all times. The midfield was superb and totally dominated. Jorginho, Kovacic, and Kante were all class I thought. CB's didn't give an inch. Fullbacks were constantly in dangerous areas.

Really, the main thing we have to improve is the speed of play which Sarri has mentioned. Teams like this will play deep against us. If we play quickly they don't have time to set up. This will come when Hazard, Kovacic, and Jorginho get more familiar with each other.

It is a shame that Rudiger's shot did not end up in the net. Such a rocket :D

Also, Kante being so up front and on the right wing just does not seem right. On the other hand, when he gets the ball and runs forward, he is fast and direct. Probably the most direct run in the team.

I think the speed in this one was quite fine. We played really franctic in the first half carving them open various times. sure we could be even quicker but i think the speed was not the problem but that it was too hectic and players overcomplicated things in the end instead of putting their feet through the ball esp hazard and pedro from close range.

HAZARD: WE NEVER GIVE UP!

Speaking to Sky Sports' Pat Davison: "We are Chelsea, we never give up, we play 95 minutes. I think we did well, we created a lot of chances, of course they defended well."

Marcos Alonso on penalty award: "I went down because he made me go down. It's a huge win for us."

70 - Eden Hazard’s goal was his 70th for Chelsea in the Premier League - overtaking Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in third (69); only Frank Lampard (147) and Didier Drogba (104) have scored more for the Blues. Special.

In fairness they defended with ten men and packed their own penalty area. Very tough to break down.......But we did eventually
