If Barkley was fitter/more game ready possibly him. At least we don’t completely lose Fabregas’ creativity but get way more midfield solidity in that sense.

Like @The Skipper said barkley is the only one that sort of make sense but he is not fit plus I only watched him once with us. I don't know how he will perform in fab role.

I don't think either Pedro nor willian can play fab role as the 3rd midfielder.
