The former Chelsea winger, who was not granted an opportunity to impress during his time at Stamford Bridge, has been tearing the Premier League to shreds during his debut season at Anfield. Predictably, it has not taken the Liverpool faithful long to fall in love with him, […]

Sorry, but these articles are getting ridiculously stupid. What's so offensive about it?

If Harry Kane went to China and banged some goals and the people from there made the same chant using "Christian" instead of muslim, would you or any Christian be offended?

Come on, it's stupid.

"This is the first time I’ve seen such an exuberant, overt, positive appreciation that includes [a player’s] religion,” FARE Executive Director Piara Powar said

A lot of people (media outlets and artists included) are praising the chant, while we're claiming that it proves Liverpool fans don't deserve Salah. Lol.

Agreed I've heard far worse over the years it's part of football culture people get offended far to easily these days. West Ham played Brighton a few years ago (Brighton has a massive gay community) and the West Ham fans started singing '' Does your boyfriend know you're here?'' that's just terrace wit and not homophobic in a nutshell they were taking the piss. Of course people (non football fans) started saying it was outrageous when it's not.

We played Fulham a few years ago Fulham has a reputation for being posh so we started singing '' Does your butler know your here?'' again just terrace wit. Some of the chants Spurs fans sang about Sol Campbell was completely wrong and it got a bit of media attention a few years ago but if it was Chelsea fans there would have been public outcry and questions asked in Parliament I'm convinced of that.
