...he had a decent game imo. We looked good against Barcelona going forward because he leads the line exceptionally well, it’s one of his best traits.

Started the game well, then couple of bad touches which meant hazard and Willian could not move up..

Didnt see second half

Was good in patches but ultimately, didn't contribute enough up front to really make a difference.

A 9 who can fight with the CBs and will not just fall as if he had 50 kilos! Looks good to me.

Great performance.

Surely shut the whole “he’s a Arsenal reject” clan up too, in all fairness he’s maybe not played as regularly as he might have hoped but when he has played he has done well. His skill set is underrated particularly with the loss of Costa in the summer having a brute strength where he can hold it in.

It's just one game and it was against an abject Southampton. Sure, it's great what he did but it will take more than one game to say he's not an 'Arsenal reject'.

How is he an Arsenal reject to begin with exactly?

The thing was though that he apparently wasn’t good enough for them and wasn’t for us based on that but he’s always done well when he’s played. Okay the goals haven’t come come as many hoped but he’s always performed.

He wasn’t. Jason didn’t say this either but many members had slagged the signing of him at first but I think like I mentioned up there his skill set suit the team and performances have always been good in my eyes. I think as well he appreciates the chance to be here you can see the effort he puts in. Not that he perhaps didn’t at Arsenal but it’s easy to see why he became so disillusioned there with them signing Lacazette and regularly playing for only 10 minutes most weeks.

Because he went from being a starter to a bench warmer for Arsenal. Even got benched by Lacazette who has been poor!

Yeah but it has been only a few games and this is when we have been shit, mind you. It's like Willian putting in the performances whenever we decide to be shit.

Still if half the team matched the effort of those two as well, we wouldn’t have been so shit.

Let's not pretend as if their effort has been there every single time. I mean look at Willian, performed well for a few weeks and has now reverted to the norm.
