They are so so clear and Pep has most of the players he needs to. He still wants to get Alexis on top of this. Proper ambitious club. Our board should be ashamed.

Much rather City win the title though.

They've stacked the deck with players, it would be a travesty if they didn't win.

Their team is something to envy, and the worst thing about it all, is that Conte is three times the manager Pep is, yet has 10 times less at his disposal.

I remember some were praising the signings of Zappacosta and Drinkwater like we'd just signed Zambrotta and Souness. I was incredibly critical of our window but some of posters on here were defending that shite, god knows why.

Oh I was slated when I said based on what I saw from youtube that Zap is not good enough.

Maybe good enough for backup but we don't need backup, we need genuine upgrade for either Moses or Alonso preferably both.

For Drinkwater I have less problem because we need more English player in our team so we can match the quota and he should be a decent alternative to fab.

If we still want to continue this 343 tactic please buy genuine class wb.

I hope they do if the club doesn't fix things in January.

For as much as I love the club, it is a waste to football to not see both of them at their best.

Hazard asked earlier this week for supporters to give time to get back to match fitness, so let's do that.

But having said that, even if he was fully fit against CP the rest were useless, so we'd have lost anyway.

As for him going... definately if we finish outside top 4, even if we do finish fourth why would he want to stay at a club that has lost it's ambition.

As for The Don well I'd like him to stay, but if as we suspect he's pissed at the board and their reluctance to support him in the transfer market that will be the deciding factor.

And January who the fuck is going to be avaliable then, nobody is going to sell anyone decent halfway thru the season.

Can’t agree with this sorry. Pep is too disrespected, his idea of football is almost revolutionary. What he did at Barcelona alone was legendary. What he’s about to do at City will be as well imo.

Imagine a talent like Hazard under Pep for example. Look at how De Bruyne is evolving into the complete playmaker under him. Conte has done ok with Hazard but he hasn’t pushed him a level above yet, like Pep has with KDB.

Willian, Alonso, Batshuayi, Pedro, Moses, Cahill. We just have so many players who are good once every few games, if that. When you combine the average skill our players posses with utterly shit mentality this is what you get.

I feel we need to have more tactical flexibility in terms of being able to play with 4 defenders when needed. When we are chasing a game we lack numbers up front with this formation, throwing in another attacker and taking a defender off should help us against mid-table teams and relegation fodder.

Their talent, attitude of the players, and tactical set up are on another planet to ours. They are sent out to dominate anyone in front of them and have world class ability in nearly every position. They go against any opponent and look to impose themselves. We simply do not have the personnel.

I can argue on the last two but not the 1st one. City and United were the teams with the best talent last season and spent the most (nett) money this season.

City need upgrade on their fb, we need upgrade on our wb. We signed only Zap, City signed mendy, walker and danilo.

We did that on numerous occasions last season but guessing we didn't do that today because Palace's up front - couldn't deal with them even 3 defenders and even Azpi struggled - we're lacking options - players injured and some horribly out of form.

An embarrassment of riches so great that Danilo doesnt even play for them in the league.

A guy who walks into our squad cant get minutes for them right now.

Yep, all not good enough. People might say this is reactionary but honestly, we should be building our squad much better than this.

Said it before but we need to build this team around these players exclusively: Courtois, Azpi, Luiz, Christensen, Rüdiger, Bakayoko, Kante, Fabregas, RLC, Hazard, Musonda, Morata, Abraham. Everyone else is just expendable.

I think his Bayern team is a better representation to show that Pep is a good manager. That team is a machine.

Yet people criticized that his Bayern team lose big against both RM and Barca.

I remembered that RM scored 2 goals from corners, you simply can't win any game if you concede two goals from corner in one game.

Against Barca they outplayed Barca and then Messi happened.

Another thing to think about and feel terrible: that was Zaha's first game back after months injured and he utterly destroyed all three of Luiz, Azpi, and Cahill. These have been some of the best defenders in the league and he made them look like a lower division back 3.

Honesly, we should try to buy him in January as an upgrade on Willian and Pedro. That sort of pace and skill is what is most effective in the PL.

Disagree with the players we need to build around...Abraham and Musonda are not good enough ...They should prove themselves at other sides...Cesc is done at top level....Bakayoko still needs to improve

Hopefully not. Pedro is old, willian can be frustrating at times or most of the time but for me wb should be the priority if we still want to play 343

It really pissed me of watching Danilo and Ox on the bench for city and pool.

I’m talking long term. We need players from the academy for European football and PL regulations and Abraham, Musonda, RLC and Christensen are our top talents.

Bakayoko was one of the few players who actually played well today. Cesc is a specialist midfielder with a top footballing mind and also had a good game today.
