Whats wrong with Sheva? Scolari didnt mention him yesterday, and he trained well on Monday. Haven't heard anything that says he'll be out, and if hes OK I think both him and Franco will be on the bench.

I have to say I'm a little nervous, as I am with every Chelsea game. It's an opener for starters, and it means our long record without losing a league game at stamford bridge is being threatened again.

I'm a bit nervy about this too because defoe and crouch will be hard to handle. We've always had a problem with peter crouch. I just hope we play well and create a lot of chances. Less than 2 hours before our new season starts and its really exciting. We have done very well on the opening day the last few years so lets hope it continues today. Arsenal and Liverpool won yesterday 1-0 and both teams looked very average. The mancs will batter newcastle later i assume so its imperative we win.
