Loved his performance, effort and attitude. Not the mentally weak boy we feared he was. bounced back from that penalty miss immediately. He might very well be the man we need. Lets hope he can start next match, score again and put his doubters to shame.

Exactly the mentality we want to see. It's not about the goal. Seemed like a fighter, that's the important thing.

Good game, been saying we should either play Morata as starter or Morata and Bats together.

Hopefuly he continues in such style, good game.

Great performance from him, showed a lot of character, fight, desire, intensity, great movement on and off the ball, 1 goal and assist, clearly the game changer for us, could have had 2 goals if not for being off side, just a real shame we lost today but our display in the 1st half is what cost us in the end, credit must be given to Burnley. Morata is going to be immense for us this season, i just feel it, he has to start from now on. Cheers

Michy on the bench next games, when Pedro and Hazard comeback

Immedietly strikes you after watching Costa for so long and Batshuayi recently how silky Morata is on the ball. Proper footballer rather than a battering ram. Goal scorer but also a creator.

We have to make sure not to get carried away, but damn did he look excellent.

Totally agree am not making much judgment of this team until hazard and bakayoko are in the team. Rudigur should start his passing range is outstanding.

I am out of the words, my God! This defeat would be so bad if it wasn't for his performance!

Indeed.

My biggest hope is he evolves into something like RVP.

Well done lad. Amazing how fast he is, when Willian made the cross, he just appeared out of somewhere and smacked it in. Really happy to have such a pacy forward, we lacked that since...mm...did we ever have a pacy forward? :D
