They possible bid to force us sell matic to them.

Utd must be batshit crazy if they woudl rather pay 40m for Matic than for Bakayoko. However, Mourinho has some perverted fondness for tall men with questionable fine motor skills. He is like the Prussian soldier king Friedrich Wilhelm buidlign a squad only consisting of men who at least 6 Prussian feet tall.  lol

Just take a moment to consider exactly HOW trash-tier news-sites would have any idea about this. Matt Law might not be correct 100% of the time (which is kind of hard to be as a journalist, as you rarely get 100% of the picture in a world where things constantly change) but he is far, far more reliable than The Sun, Metro or Express. He is saying that the deal is basically done, but that the deal was delayed by a slight injury on Bakayoko's behalf.

This forum would really benefit from banning the worst news outlets like RedCafe is doing.

Imagine it, Utd wanted Morata, we (apparently) wanted Lukaku. Man Utd got Lukaku, We get Morata. We want Bakayoko, Utd want Fabinho. Man Utd get Bakayoko, we get Fabinho LOL. I don't believe this nonsense, but like someone said I am sure we aren't the only ones after him and if you believe the press, they wanted Bakayoko before we did.

Just like Lukaku was a Chelsea player?

I never said that. Only Rudiger, Bakayoko and Sandro.

Was he? Again, we are only going by what we are told by reporters who have since shown themselves up to be unreliable. All I remember is when there was talk of Costa leaving, Lukaku got thrown out there as someone we were interested in because he was potentially going to leave Everton.

The fact that Chelsea thrown in a late bid showed that they was careless and took too long to close the deal.

Just like it is happening here and thus letting United to get Bakayoko.

The only reason Lukaku is(will be soon) a United player is because of Chelsea's incompetence to struck a deal early with Everton and they gave United extra time to hijack the deal.

It's pathetic really. This isn't necessarily about Lukaku, this is about a guy Conte wanted and the board has failed to deliver and got themselves mugged off by that creepy Ed Woodward and the Special Once.

Maybe Lukaku had chosen to go to Utd beforehand (he was already in LA for their pre-season) and Chelsea knew this.
