CLOSE : Tiémoué Bakayoko was in Paris last night, may be in London this morning but medical planned this week with Chelsea. #CFC

Plenty saying he's in London this evening with medical tomorrow. His Insta story last night I am sure he said "Chelsea" at the end.

I think you're right! ahahah i just watched it twice and maybe you put it in my end to expect it but it definitely seems like he whispered chelsea. thats hilarious. Good catch!

I saw it last night and though "Nah it's the ale I have had" then I asked my lad to watch it and he said he also thinks he said it.

His ability to carry the ball forward is quite underrated on here I think. The few times I watched him last season I always got the feeling that he has decent technique and can dribble past opponents. Of course, he doesn't have the elegant close control dribbling like Verratti, but he is fast and can force his way through midfield by his strength if he needs to.

I can see a bit of patrick Vieira in him with his powerful runs with the ball

This is one of his very top attributes imho

Fabinho would be way more exciting for the long term, and given the fact we'll have a new manager in a few years, would be the only option I'd consider. Bakayoko fits Conte's style of having runners in the centre, whereas Fabinho likes to anchor himself a lot more, but, one of these players will be on top of the world one day, the other won't be. One is able to play in any system, anywhere behind the forwards. The other plays the same way every game. The long term value is in Fabinho. The short term 'fix' is Baka.

It's the difference between a Lampard or a Ramires*,
*who he's more akin to than Yaya Toure, unless we're talking the over-the-hill Yaya.
