Hate to be pedantic or a grammar Nazi but I'm not sure about the use of the word literally.. It is after all the favourite word of that twat Jamie Redknapp who once said '' That ball was literally put on a plate for him''. Perhaps the word virtually would be better'' Baba is virtually on his way to Schalke''.

I dont know what went wrong or who was in control of it all but after ther sad Filipe Luis fail somebody just went doolally with Paby,Baba and Miazga. With Baba costing between £14 and £20mill which they must have thrown a party when the door closed. But the other 2 wer £10mill between them.

Why didn't the scouts/transfer teasm/management sit down and make some plan to get decent defenders. Thats what gets me. How did they come to their conclusions?

Right now I'd give my right one for Luis and Luiz. They would both fit Conte stylee

Whoever handles transfers need to lose their job. The only good signings in the last 3 seasons have been Costa, Matic, and Cesc.
