He was promising back then in Monaco, but Ranieri decided to send him away in order to get more play time. He played realy well for NIce this season.

To compare with Kante, he isnt realy the same type. Just because he arrived, it doesnt necessary mean Kante will leave. Kante is b2b, Mendy is more technical Makelele. Parked infront of defence, distributing balls. His passing is realy good and has nice ball control. I think under Ranieri, he could be one of players to watch next season because his potential is even higher than Kante's.

According to numerous reports, it all seems that Kante has decided to sign for Chelsea. But we will probably have to wait the end of the Euro to know. Kante would be a fantastic addition to our team.

I am a little more skeptical at the moment of the reports of this signing, BUT if we can get Kante and the others we are in it with, this could be a nice summer transfer window for us. Kante would be very nice addition. Really impressed last year.

Guess if we get Morata one of Kenedy/Traoré will have no space whatsoever, hopefully it will be Kenedy because I think Traoré can become the superior player. Not too sure about that midfield either, I hope Conte will realize soon enough how useless is Fabregas, and we desprately need a new FB.
