Think Conte was wrong on Bats. I know this may sound like blasphemy here.

I don't know. Yes he scored two goals but overall game imo was just ok. Lose few balls, in term of finishing I think he is better than Costa not sure about other aspect though

Bats has problems with lone striker system and tactical movement, language barrier. He only starting to get used to life here recently.

Was he a lone striker when he came on against Sunderland? I wasn't able t watch.

Language barrier? He already speaks better English than Costa who's been here for 3 years lol.

His tweets are translated by a friend, his actual English isn't good yet

Performance-wise he has fully earned to start vs Arsenal. Costa has been poor this year apart from one or two games whilst Michy in only 3 games has scored 4 goals and produced overall solid to brilliant cameos. I am usually against experiments in crucial games but it is not that Costa has been consistently brilliant in those either this whole season.

Yes but at that time sunderland has completely given up. He shines the most when playing with another striker, along side costa i.e watford, wba match. Though he seems to finally get a grasp on his teamates movements. A loan should do him well.

he has earned the right to play more games next season, his form and confidence in front of goal lately, warrants him more starts for next season, he deserves it no doubt, otherwise when will he play?

Hmm....2 up top next season with Batshuayi and Lukaku? Could be deadly, but not sure how they would accommodate both Belgians in the squad

well taken goal, composed finish in tight space. What a difference from the player we saw at the beginning of the season where he put his foot through every ball he would get hold of.

Is that the Lukaku who is supposedly so so bad technically and really bad at trapping the ball, getting an assist? Wow.

You are the prince that was promised, Azor Ahuayi.

Scenes when we go into the new season with Bats as our 1st striker. At this point it wouldn't even surprise me.

No worries, I think the board can finalise Llorente and Matri deals before the start of the season, if they start negotiating soon, of course.
