People always be underestimating. I'll blow my own horn here and say how I called how Italy would be a problem. That defence is mean. They'd be even better if they had Verratti and Marchisio.

The only thing good about this Italy team is the defense and keeper, yet they still find a way to win lol.

It's not a good defence though, it's a great defence. With the added benefit of the Juventus understanding. That's the thing about international football. The units aren't nearly as strong as they are in club football because of the little time they spent together.

And a great defence is what wins you tournaments. Or gets it you far at least. Florenzi and Candreva are appearing to make strong options for the wingback role btw. Their profile suits the position.

You have pretty much described their trademark gameplay - they've been doing this forever... :)

Don't agree at all.
We have a fantastic defence and keeper. We haver very good wingers. We have decent striker options. Our weak point is the midfield. We have a great, working system and the best manager in this tournament.

I disagree with the Italian strikers being good, they're bang average. Examples of decent striking options is Croatia with mandzukic, not Eder and pelle

Conte has a tough job getting goals with that team.

I said decent. :P A step below good. Two steps below very good. You get the idea. "Not complete and utter wank."

I sort of have real respect for this Italian side, not because of Conte as for me the jury is out on him until he actually can be judged for us. But the reason being is this group looked tough, they have now played two games and completely put them to bed with solidarity, a work ethic and a no nonsense attitude without having all these "Star Names"

Fair play I say.
