Tammy Abraham first 17 months in senior football (Chelsea, Bristol & Swansea):

60 games
31 goals
4 assists

maybe puts into perspective how well he's done, even surprised me. How rare is it to see a young striker from England U21s go straight to performing at first team level.

Even more so when you factor in he's played for two defensive team's that lack creativity and the fact Ike Ugbo is finding the step upto mens football very difficult. I actually think in the next 2 season's he will be the top scorer in this league save for Aguero, Jesus, Lukaku, Kane and Morata, maybe Sanchez and Eden too.

Very. very happy for him. Making the absolute most of his loan opportunity and clearly working with Paul Clement has been good for his own development.

Has to be rewarded for his efforts next season, our very own Rashford.

Chelsea will not be able to recall Tammy Abraham from his season-long loan at Swansea early in January due to the terms of the deal they agreed.

Well very unlikely because he will start the majority of their games and if he continues scoring, his place in the team will not be in jeopardy. Bony, currently injured as well.

Reading between the lines, it seems Clement is indicating if we want him back, Tammy won't get to play as many games as he would like.
Sounds like the old Madness song, "Now pass the blame and don't blame me".

Either way, looks like recalling him isn't a good idea. Can we get Drogs to come back for a short stint again?

He definitely wasn't great, but he was definitely dangerous - more dangerous than most strikers his age getting a game for England.
I guess we expected more since he's been lighting it up in the leagues, but he held his own even if he was all over the place.

Germany certainly had their hearts in their throats due to Abraham more often than due to Vardy.

We all know his quality, and there's more positives than negatives to take away.

Batshuayi has disappointed so far against Bournemouth. Whenever he's started games, especially this year, he hasn't cut it. His entire niche seems to be getting goals from the bench, which is a worry if he needed to start for a prolonged period of time. If Abraham wanted to come back, would definitely have him here next year. Would for certain be a good second-choice, or even occasionally first-choice striker.

Tammy sitting on the bench here would be pointless, I mean honestly how often does Batshuayi play from the start? Once every 6 weeks or so? Then 10/15 minutes in games we are winning every week or second week... sure Conte doesn’t trust him but I can see him and the club preferring a young kid like Tammy is away on loan playing every week for a few years like Andreas did because he has huge potential and stagnating him by sitting him on a bench is pointless.
