I just read someone making a comment about how his 'match highest earner' clause is ridiculous.

As far as putting a number on it, Jake Cohen has it down as £175000 p/w for the contract that was supposed to end in June. About the new deal, various figures being reported, from £140000 + bonuses (Times) to £175000 (Guardian). So not a huge difference.
