Please please win the title! So John will lift it for the last time! It would be a brilliant way to leave :)

Outside of Azpi, Luiz, Kante & Hazard, our identity is now carried by half-hearted amateurs.

That is scary, we don't have the fighting spirit we had in the previous gen of players we had. This lot is... well...

We don't have people like Frank, Terry, Cech, Drogba who committed themselves to the club. With crazy money being splashed around Europe it seems like loyalty is closely related to the money. That is also another reason why I see players not fully committing to every game(1 or 2 off games is acceptable but many isn't)

The word 'legend' gets put about a lot especially in this day and age, but a guy like John Terry elevates the word once again.

He IS a Chelsea and footballing Legend.

Love the man. Let's give him a couple more trophies before he goes.

End of an era.

I swear, if Cahill is named permanent captain, I'm going to support Wigan.

Not all bad then. :)

I don't understand the timing but thanks for everything legend. The greatest captain and leader in Chelsea's history. CAPTAIN LEADER LEGEND. Nothing more.

I hope the club already have a role for him at Chelsea.

20 year club players are rarer than rocking horse shit -

Can't blame him -he's won everything with this club.

Leader , Legend and soooo much good stuff off the pitch that goes unsung by the biased media

There will NEVER be a better captain than John Terry.

No player is ever bigger than his club, but John Terry personifies Chelsea football club more than any player that has ever put on the blue shirt, certainly in my lifetime.

This was normally inevitable, but it still feels painful as hell. We can't thank you enough for all the trophies you lifted, memories you created, heart you gave, and above all, all the times you put the club and the fans before yourself.

John Terry, eternally our Captain, Leader and Legend!

If we win double this season... "Double, double, double - John Terry has won the double! And that shit from the Lane, have won f*ck all again, John Terry has won the double!", my God, I'll sing that untill my throat dies out.
