Willian and zouma are the only 2 players that performed to expectation. Obviously the injury means Willian will get it. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron.

Zouma did well till injury, Fab has done well since the last couple of months and I know Willian hasn't done as much recently but I think Willian fully deserves it this year

The word "award" should not be used at all this season.

The player who didn't completely suck this season would have to be Willian. Everyone else was not consistently good at all and that goes right the way through the squad.

Courtois whilst showing promise for the future was tbh poor at times. Cech as of right now is still the better keeper imo. Hopefully he can go on to reach greater heights next year. Back line was poor. JT had his moments. Zouma pick of the bunch though. Nothing to shout about. Fabregas only central midfielder that deserves mentioning. Willian decent. Costa ok at times absent at others. A terrible season where we still don't have any faith in our much touted youth prospects.

No doubt about it ,Willian is the player of this season. Zouma for young player.

Not sure why Willian deserves it. Sure, he never gave up, but the same could be said for Azpilicueta. He had some nice free kicks, but otherwise I don't think he was a standout to deserve the award. Plus, once Guus came in, he started to disappear.

Well unlike Azpilicueta, Willian didn't lose his man every other match to leak in goals. As good as Cesar has been, he's had some real shockers this season.

 

I wouldn't want anyone from our back four to get an award this season. Individually and collectively they've been a sham.

 

EDIT: But I get your point though. Compared to the players that were part of the PFA team, Willian himself has hardly done anything that stands out.
