The Blues have had their official take on the situation published by the same paper as they try to wash their hands of any underhand schemes.

"The claims are false and entirely without foundation. Chelsea football club has never used the services of Bonar and has no knowledge or record of any of our players having been treated by him or having used his services. We take the issue of performance-enhancing drugs in sport extremely seriously and comply fully with all anti-doping rules and regulations. Chelsea FC players are regularly and rigorously tested by the relevant authorities". – via The Sunday Times (subscription required)

Drugs in sport is endemic. We hear probably about 2-3% of cases.

Also when a player is out for a 'groin strain' torn ligament', so often its because of an in house test that has proved positive for recreational drugs, a club medic told us, - nearly always cocaine

So a player that is often injured, is taking drugs??

Here is the full article. Chelsea's old fitness coach involved.

"He had not worked directly with players on sports drugs but claimed he had been told that some of the chelsea players used banned substances during his time at the club." - regarding Chelsea's fitness coach. Some very big statement here.

The arrogance of football is amazing, to think that this billion£ industry is clean of drugs is as ludicrous as the notion fifa isn't corrupt . Even the damning Panama Papers reveal the ETHICS committee of Fifa are f*cking corrupt!

I wouldn't be surprised if 99% of players in La Liga & the BPL are dosed up the eyeballs in PEDs yet to be banned.
