Just a little fun "game" I saw on another forun.

Post what would be your starting eleven for a team constisting of only SA players and another of only European players. Also, post who you think would win and by how much!

Me first...

Euroe: Neuer, Lahm, Ramos, Boateng, Alaba, Busquets, Pogba, Silva, Hazard, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic.

SA: Bravo, Daniel Alves, T. Silva, Miranda, Marcelo, Mascherano, Vidal, James Rodriguez, Neymar, Messi, Suarez.

I think South America would win but simply because Messi is in the line up and he is that big of a difference maker...

Tough to pick an XI for Europe. Today I'll go for this. XI based on best in position. If you ask me to make a real team, it becomes difficult. Europe has killer depth.

Neuer

Lahm Boateng Chiellini Alba

Marchisio Busquets Iniesta

Robben Lewandowski Ronaldo

Bravo

Alves Silva Godin Luis

Vidal Mascherano James

Messi Suarez Neymar

2-3

SA's front three making the difference.

2-3 because that's more fun than 1-2.

Both teams with a fair chance of winning though.

I guess it depends where you're from. In the US you're taught there are 7 continents. I know in other places it's less.

Whaddya talking about? Central America is apart of North America or simply the American supercontinent. There are no continental divisions taught in any country that list Central America as a part of South America or as a separate continent.

I mean it's separate. It's not part of north or south america. North america is USA, Mexico and Canada. South america starts at Colombia downwards. Some don't even consider Panama as central america.

Well those some are wrong as in every definition of North America, central-america is a part of it.

There is no country that officially recognises central-America as it's own continent or as a part of South America. Central-America is always a part of North-America.

I don't know what the correct way to classify it as. I've just heard it as being, both a part of NA and a separate piece of landmass. You can even find the Caribbean and Central America grouped together. The same way Oceania isn't a continent but Australia is. That's the closest example I can think of.

Then there are geographers who use Eurasia. Or one America for north and south. Especially in Europe.

Like I said, I don't know what's correct. But Navas isn't from SA.
