Club World Cup

I put this in the Matthew Harding stand because its a competition we have competed in and hopefully will again, but feel free to move it if admins don't agree.

Club world cup is a chance to be Champions of the world, but despite the high tag, it isn't a highly thought of tournament at all, is it time fifa do something to change that? After all its not only the chance to be Champions of the whole world but a chance to play against teams from different continents, no other (competitive) club competition offers that.

Maybe make the tournament once every four years, put the winners of the CL, copa libatadores in the 4 year period in between in it, or if there is a team who wins more than once in that time frame put the best performing team that didn't win in it (for example 06-09 CL was Milan, United and twice Barca, we would probably have got in as best performing team who didn't win) make a proper tournament then the winner is truly a world champion.

Of course time frame would be a huge issue, but its just an idea because for me it doesn't sit right how undervalued the tournament is.

Good shout. Never had the kudos or money of the CL, yet is the highest accolade in club football. Its status remains pitiful.
