Goalkeepers

Asmir Begovic - Has given his best so far but not the calmness you'll get from Courtois especially in the box 6. 7.5/10

Thibaut Courtois - Let the team down against Swansea but redeemed himself against Westbrom. Too bad he's been injured. 6/10

Defenders

Branislav Ivanovic - Worst individual player this season. Too bad it's happened to him really. 2/10

Kurt Zuma - Young and still learning. Occasional lack of positioning, but always gives his best whenever called upon. 6.5/10

Abdul Baba Rahman - Young but still lacks confidence. Hasn't had a convincing game so far especially now that he's terribly needed. 4/10

Gary Cahill - Very inconsistent and has made benching old man Terry very difficult. Has let the team down on numerous occasions too. 4/10.

John Terry - Tired old legs which is somewhat understandable. Has let the team down too on numerous occasions. 4/10

Cesar Azpilicueta - Mr dependable. Player of the season so far. 9/10

Midfielders

Cesc Fabregas - Lazy most of the times. Showed signs of brilliance occasionally but has overall been a shadow of himself. 3/10

Ramires - Initially played terribly early in the season but has so far improved. Won his place back in the team and brought some stability back to the defensive midfield. 6/10

Oscar - Played well in the first match of the season but has since then faded into obscurity after his injury. 5/10

Eden Hazard - So much talent, so much potential but has failed to show responsibility. Has let the team down too on numerous occasions; Slowing down counter attacks, afraid to get into the box most of the time, and always fluffing clear chances as well as pks. Most players of his ability need no external motivation. 3/10

John Mikel Obi - Has not had much chance but let the team down greatly when brought back into the team especially against Everton, and Porto. Zero tackles attempted/won in both matches. Did well though against Walsall. 4.5/10

Kenedy - Showed great potential despite limited chances he's had so far. 6/10

Pedro - Brilliant initially and won a lot of fans over but has since then let everyone down. Too selfish on the ball, wastes possession and clear chances too. 5/10

Nemanja Matic - was initially terrible, then showed signs of recovery in the past three matches but seriously let the team and himself down against West ham, in what looked like he intentionally got himself sent off. 3/10

Willian - Terrible initially but improved thereafter and deservedly won back his place in the team. Saved the team too sometimes, and always showed desire every time he's called upon. 7/10

Ruben Loftus-Cheek - Great potential, did well against Walsall and Maccabbi but was very disappointing against Aston Villa with about 60% passes completed, and One tackle won. 5.5/10

Forwards

Radamel Falcao - Limited playtime, great movement but not convincing enough. 5/10

Loic Remy - Mostly disappointing when called upon except for Walsall game. Seems to have a special desire to stay offside especially when played alone. 4.5/10

Diego Costa - Limited services this season. Showed passion and desire in most matches but seems to love to fight many times than play the game. 5.5/10

Goalkeepers

1. Asmir Begovic - 7 - whilst he hasn't been spectacular, he's ensured we have avoided a number of humiliations (we could have lost by six at City without him, for instance), and can hold his head up high.

13. Thibaut Courtois - 6 - only played a handful of matches, but with a complete lack of protection in front of him, he did as well as he could. One mistake vs Swansea made up for with the penalty save at West Brom.

Defenders

2. Branislav Ivanovic - 2 - he was fantastic against Arsenal, as captain - but that was the exception to the norm this season. He can't defend and he can't attack. He's the "best right-back at the club" in Jose's eyes because he's the only right-back at the club.

5. Kurt Zouma - 5 - he hasn't been the saviour of our defence as so many predicted. However, his low rating here is through no lack of effort, but moreso through being partnered with different centre-backs every week, and then starting at right-back.

6. Abdul Baba Rahman - 5 - hard to judge a player who is so clearly unfavoured by the manager, but he's looked okay in his few appearances. Seems shaky defensively, but he is a young man. Certainly a good crosser of the ball and can be a more attacking option ahead of Azpilicueta.

24. Gary Cahill - 6 - our best centre-back this season (though there hasn't been much competition). He's struggled like the rest of them, but it's been him bailing out Terry this season, rather than it being the other way around.

26. John Terry - 4 - we all love John Terry, but this season so far has indicated his time has come. He shouldn't retire, but the sooner he takes on a part-time playing role, the better.

28. Cesar Azpilicueta - 7 - Mr. Reliable - yet even he has endured some poor matches this season. It does, however, speak volumes that almost all of the goals we've conceded this season have come down the opposite flank to his. The best defensive full-back in the world, no question.

Midfielders

4. Cesc Fabregas - 3 - he's been hopeless, for the most part. José has tried him in the deeper role which he thrived in last season; then in the attacking three where his defensive frailties are less exposed. Equally useless in both capacities.

7. Ramires - 5 - he has struggled with injury, but has looked relatively sound when he's played. Defensively fantastic and his work-rate cannot be faulted, but he kills every single attack we make with poor passing.

8. Oscar - 5 - it's no surprise that we've been at our best this season when Oscar has worked his magic, but those moments have been few and far-between, and his inconsistency, coupled with a niggling injury or two, have made it a frustrating campaign so far.

10. Eden Hazard - 2 - the word "fraud" has been bandied about and it is not too bold to use such emotive language to describe Hazard's transformation from being one of the world's best players last season to one of the biggest flops of 2015/16. Is he tired, has he fallen out with Mourinho, does he even want to be at Chelsea in the first place? Who knows, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him packing his bags in the summer.

12. John Mikel Obi - 6 - there is no surprise here. Mikel does a job. He rarely has "good" or "bad" games. He's just Mikel, and he gives us a stable platform in midfield. Unlike Ramires, he can make simple passes, though he lacks the Brazilian's dynamism and speed.

16. Kenedy - 6 - we've seen little of him, and that is a surprise considering how poor Hazard and Pedro have been. He's looked lively, without ever trying too hard. Mourinho's record of youth integration is poor, so perhaps his lack of inclusion is explained by that fact alone.

17. Pedro - 4 - we seem to have signed the Spanish Jesper Grønkjær. Brilliant one game (his debut, for instance) and unbelievably atrocious the next. However, he is still adapting to English football. He deserves the benefit of the doubt because his quality is unquestionable.

21. Nemanja Matic - 5 - he hasn't been as bad as everyone has made out. He's been doing the work of two midfielders because of Fabregas' shortcomings; hence why his best games have come when he has had the help of either Mikel or Ramires in midfield. He's had some excellent performances this season, but he is still a shadow of his 2014 self.

22. Willian - 8 - with this man, is it a case of him being brilliant outright, or just good in comparison to the turgid performances of his team-mates? I'd say a bit of both, but the way he has reacted to the signing of Pedro has been incredible. His work-rate can never be faulted, but he is now offering a greater attacking output and has already matched his goal return in 2013/14 in 42 appearances, and in 2014/15 in 49 appearances, in just 9 games this season. A return of a dozen would be a fair contribution to a man who is effectively our right-back.

36. Ruben Loftus-Cheek - 6 - similar to the fuss over Zouma, Ruben is not the answer to our midfield failings. He does, however, deserve more of a chance, because he has at least been industrious in midfield for us. He is a better option than Fabregas, at present, but simply lacks the famous name Mourinho requires to play him.

Forwards

9. Radamel Falcao - 2 - okay, I admit it. I got this one wrong. I was excited about Falcao, because I thought he would suit our style of play. Plus, with it only being a loan, if it didn't work out, it wouldn't be a disaster where we have to offload him. However, he is simply a Mourinho vanity project. The fact we replaced Didier Drogba with this guy makes it even worse. He can go in January; bring back Bamford.

18. Loic Remy - 5 - hard to judge a man who must have killed one of Mourinho's relatives. Frustrating to watch as he tries too hard at times. Deserves more of a shot.

19. Diego Costa - 4 - when you have a man more interested in murdering an opposition centre-back than scoring, you know you're going to be in trouble. Needs to sort himself out.
