The Mourinho Thread

10m would be one of the biggest ever compensations paid for a manager's release, only AVB's €13m tops that I believe. And it's not like they want to keep Mourinho there at Real Madrid, in fact quite the opposite, so why should Chelsea do them a favour by paying them €10m to rid them of the man they would most likely end up sacking anyway? Wouldn't be very good business, would it? We're still in May and there's a couple of months before pre-season starts so from Chelsea's point of view there's really no need to rush things when €10m could easily be saved by taking things slowly and that €10m could then be used elsewhere.

Got it!

thanks

I think this PC will have a lot to do with Jose. The weekend was a massive sour point in a poor season for RM and with the two sendings off of CR and Jose I feel something will come to a head here.

Jose did not cover himself in glory on Friday and it seemed more like a 'I can't be fucked now' middle finger gesture IMO.

It matters not whether it is now or a few weeks, Jose is going, we all know this.

What if they come out and pull an Everton-Moyes and say "We've decided to part ways amicably and Jose has expressed interest in joining Manchester City."
