The Mourinho Thread

Honestly, I don't think it would be that tragic to appoint Ramos. All that matters is what the players want. The board could aswell appoint me and it would be the same thing. These players are mature enough to bounce back, but it's pretty obvious that they do not want to work with Jose anymore. Whoever comes will have an easy mission. Things can't get much worse than they already are. If Mou leaves, the players won again. And if the players win, their confidence will be back and surely the results will improve a lot, no matter who the manager will be.

But the main problem is that these players can win this fight, but the club can't allow them to be here for the next one. During these months, some of them proved that they are not good enough for Chelsea, while others proved that their ego is bigger than their professionalism. Only a few deserve to be here for the next season.

I'm fucking done for the season should we appoint Ramos to take over from Jose Mourinho. That would be a farce to say the least...

Same.

Of course José isn't bigger than the club, but this would be a travesty. Unless the board straight up say that Pep will take over in the summer when Ramos is appointed then I couldn't stomach it.

The board probably see how he recovered Tottenham and Reals seasons and the fact he has a decent cup record which could put us in good stead for at least the FA Cup.

As full time boss, forget it, but till the end of the season he might not be that bad.

Who will be available in the summer? Brenden Rodgers is the only one I can think of that won't have a better opportunity. Chelsea would be by far and away the biggest club he can manage. Every other worthy manager will have options like Bayern/City/United to choose from and other managers that we are reportedly after like Simeone are already at top clubs and have no reason to leave.

Money?

We have to move on from Jose its not working, worrying about alternatives just doesn't really wash because He has lost the dressing room and results are still shit.

And if no proven top class manager is available then that's when the board have to earn their money and be prudent, their will be options around who could do a very good job, will just result in the board having to look a bit futher than the end of their noses.

Also 're Simeone, word is German Burgos is taking Enligh lessons.

Now he thinks there's a mole in the squad that has leaked the line-ups prior to the Porto and Leicester games. Jesus Christ! He couldn't have had a similar season to his 3rd one in Madrid even if he had tried to, could he?

Don't believe every story the media create just to get clicks and attention, watch what he said from 01:00. He was not even sure if he used the right word, he said some players ''betrayed'' his work, what he meant was clear = they didn't follow the instructions of the game plan.

Mole in the squad to leak the line up? They just copy pasted the story from Madrid to get attention.

Whatever ££££ we can offer City and United can match and exceed. With Pep specifically I doubt money is the key factor in where he goes next. We could offer double what the others do and I doubt he'd come here.

And that's why he repeated the word "betrayed" in all his other press conferences that day? Mourinho knew what he said and he knew what sort of headlines he will get from the papers the following morning.

Juande Ramos’ agent Ginés Carvajal is in London negotiating with Chelsea. #cfc [AS]

This seems to be very legit. All over twitter. Finally, the end truly is near for Mourinho.

There's also a different pressure now. This season has set the club back. Winning the league in 16/17 is unrealistic. Scratch that, downright impossible. Think it will be between the Manc clubs and possibly Arsenal. Finishing in the top 4 will be the goal. Even a title in 17/18 seems far-fetched. The coming years will be about repairing the damage and introducing new blood.
