Even so. We are 13 points behind 4th so even if we win 13 or 15 points in the next 5 games (which again wont happen) it isnt difficult for the other contwnders to make 9 or 10 points. Which in the end would still leave us 3 games behind!

So, in resume what I am saying is we definitely are not finishing top 4. People need to accept that and end of story!

yeah that's what mean for us to get top 4 everyone else would have to fall apart drastically.ain't happening.just gotta focus on getting far from the bottom at the moment.

Crazy how things have changed..

People say we played well last night, but did we really? We managed to have loads of the ball but we created next to nothing until the last 10 minutes when we went for it. In that time Stoke could have and probably should have scored from two counter attacks.

I still think we should keep Jose but this is astonishing. How can a team that won the league last season with so much ease be 16th? Jose may need to look at freshening up his training methods and playing style and as Gary Neville said, play some fucking youngsters. What have we got to lose now?

Rumours say that he is keen to replace Van Gaal at United. What if he is trying to get himself sacked to make that move?

thought LvG had another season after this one......bit of a long term ploy by Mourinho if thats to be believed.

p.s. that flag on your profile. Yours?????

The player I feel sums up our current malaise is Baba. He has to wait ages for his debut mainly because it's pretty apparent that the manager doesn't rate him. He's then given a run when the team's confidence is shot to pieces and it's affecting him badly. He's no Roberto Carlos but he's looking pretty lost out there at the moment and I feel for the kid.

Filipe Luis mark II. The fact that Zouma was played at Right back when Jose's favourite son got hurt says it all.

Of course we didn't play "well". A bunch of talented attacking players huffing and puffing, playing directionless football has been our story for majority of Jose's 2nd spell. Teams like City and Arsenal, that actually have a style of play create far more clear cut chances than we do. Instead, our manager likes to fantasize about "so many chances" we apparently create in his post match interviews.

It is not impossible at all for us to get top 4. As good as Leicester have been, you assume that by the end of the season we should be above them, hopefully. 14 points behind them while 13 behind United. Assume now that City, Arsenal and United are top three. Then you assume our big challengers for the 4th spot will be Spurs, Liverpool and the lesser likes of West Ham, Everton and Southampton. Our next game is Norwich at home which should be a home banker. We then go to Spurs which will be a crucial game. If we can get our act together and beat them, we then have Bournemouth which is surely a home win for us followed by Leicester away and Sunderland and Watford at home. Really, we are good enough to get maximum points there. If not maximum we should be targetting around 13 points at least. We do that then all of a sudden our top 4 chances should look much better. Look at the run Arsenal put together last season and they were doing bad around this stage last season too, albeit not too bad. They ended up finishing 3rd and got top 4 easily.

Hopefully the same with us. Got to keep the faith. We have got too many talented players to think we cannot get a run going :blue scalf:

I love your positivity !

As Chelsea fans we should know better that miracles do happen ;)

He deserves an incredible amount of criticism based on this season, but it is this kind of disrespect that José certainly does not deserve.

Well he shouldn't make promises he cannot keep!

HE said RLC was ready and would play.

But like the majority of things Mourinho says it's all bollox.

He's a talker not a doer...

Thing about RLC is that without the ball he is just like Cesc. Its like he cant be bothered to press.
