I understand why people are hesitant about another huge name, super hyped striker, but this guy is on the ascendency unlike Torres who was damaged goods when we bought him.

Just can't see him flopping with the players we have around him. With them having a season to gel behind them and with a great manager, Falcao will be a machine.

At least if he were to not live up to the price we wouldn't be completely fucked for a season or two like with Torres since we have Ba and Lukaku.

Falcao won't be the flop of epic proportion like Torres simply because what makes him great isn't easily taken away from him. Torres was done when he lost his pace to injuries. Falcao at worst will be someone like Chicharito. 50M is a lot for anybody, but if it means Jose's coming too, sign me up
