Chelsea are considering a move for Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi in the January transfer window, according to reports and according to TMW The Blues are already believed to be looking for reinforcements after a below-par start to the season which has seen them take just eight points from their opening seven games.

Jose Mourinhos side are monitoring the Algerian playmaker with increasing intensity, although his current contract at Porto does contain a £44.1m buyout clause.
