It felt as though Chelsea will never be able to produce results like these.

So, what's the verdit? Was this XI good enough (minus Pedro) to compete for the EPL? CL? Can Baba take the LB spot? Can RLC breakout this year?

Arseholes beat also,and porto drew ,good night all around alot of positives lets roll on to saturday with confidence,hope we get at them early and press like 2nite.

Ok we need to build from this for Arsenal on Saturday. Baba had a good 2nd half and RLC played well. They both should start the next game. Matic next to RLC. Baba and Cesar starting as full backs.

Not big opposition but we've struggled against other 'poorer sides' in the past.confidence boost and a great performance which been so lacking in.Needs to continue and finally get things going

Like I said, Maccabi are without a doubt the worst team Chelsea faced in Europe in years... But it's nice to have a big win.

That was our saving grace to be honest. Maccabi had open goal chances that could have equalised but they were not skillful enough to find the goal.
