That Breida guy said he wont be sold. And it makes sense. Barca cant buy in summer and they wont let their squad depth in attack get thinner than already is.

he only said that to drive his price up, they have Munir and Deulofeu to bring in to replace Pedro.

£7m ????????????????

bargain buy of the summer that,.... actually that would go to Cech :'(

but tbh has won everything with barca, has scored 10+ goals every season for the last 6 including two seasons with 20+ goals...only reason he cant play is they got suarez. at 7m isnt worth thinking twice

£7m is of course not even a gamble. He will give you at least 10 goals a season.

But why would Barca do this? They can't buy and don't have replacements, unless they want to use Munir and Doulofeu as back ups.

He excelled so well under Pep and Spain because he was the runner in a possession based team. He was the one player that ran behind the defenders instead of coming towards the ball. He's decent but not great. I like to think of him as more technically refined Navas.

People will find themselves easily switching 180 degrees if we sign Pedro. They guy is not the same he was 2-3 years ago.

For the sake of our club, Mourinho and the staff better not bring another past his prime and stop gap option on the team. I'd take Sterling anyday over this guy and i don't even rate or like him at all.

I hear what you're saying, though I think you're a bit harsh. There are a lot of runners in football but not many would've been capable of what he did for them. He's not a great individual, but he does possess a fantastic understanding of space, has a great first touch, he links up well and the man knows how to score goals. He understands the Barca game, works his socks off and is a real team player. But he definitely benifited from the greatness of his team mates, not the type of player to stand out on his own. And he's regressed a bit as well.

Always thought he'd be great for Klopp's Dortmund when there was talk about him leaving these past summers.

I personally would not sign Pedro. And I doubt that Barcelona will sell him for 7 million pounds.

But this week the sports newspapers "SPORT" and "Mundo deportivo" report that Barcelona could receive from FIFA
the suspension of the sanction for their signings this summer. It is only a possibility, not a sure thing, but both newspapers say that Paul Pogba could be expecting the decision of FIFA to play for Barcelona in 2015 or 2016.

The signing of Pedro for any other team can also depend on this sanction. If Barcelona can sign this summer, it is more likely that Pedro leave Barcelona this summer.

But I prefer another kind of player. Pedro is not a player for the starting eleven. It is more a good backup.

Indeed, according to these newspapers of Catalonia, Gundogan has passed a medical in Munich to sign for Barcelona. Pogba + Gundogan in Barcelona ?. I hope it's a lie.

People act like he has played poorly, when really, he hasn't played much. Especially this season behind MSN. He can still be a key player for any top side, given the game time.
