It's difficult for them to be fair. They're told not to ask certain questions before they go in. If they do they aren't invited back, which will obviously have a huge effect on their careers.

In certain cases that's true but this would just be a simple question just like the Pogba or Stones questions.

In the Pedro case, I think that is good for us the win of Bartomeu, because according to the catalan press, Pedro has a verbal pact with this directive about If he doesn't have enough time to play, they would not put a problem for let him leave the club if any good offer appears.

Particularly because we're after him, I can see United coming in and offering him a stupid contract, something like at least 50k+ a week more than us. United are already playing catch up, so I would imagine they'd love to snatch Pedro from us to try to close the gap as much as possible. The question is if Pedro just wants money or wants to play for a real team.

Then again, with United offering so much these days it also comes with risk of the 'mercenary effect', where players only show up when they want to (like at City). I imagine that's what we want to weed out. C'est la vie I suppose.
