Meh, we had a similar thread a few years back.

We're seen as the big bad wolf who came into football success with £billions. We got unprecedented hate because we weren't considered 'elite' despite being major players before Abramovich even knew the word Chelsea. The hypocrisy of United, Arsenal and Liverpool fans is amusing more than anything because they love to forget about their exploits in 90s and 80s which had them breaking transfer records annually. They hide behind the rhetoric of "we've got history" but often forget their "history" came about because they signed players like Cantona, Henry, Fowler, etc.

To summarise, I'm glad they hate us. It means we're doing something right and being successful always breeds resentment and jealousy. It's okay for Louis Van Gaal, Brendan Rodgers and even Arsene Wenger to waste £100 million on deadweight talent in the name of progress. But when we do it and get unlucky with Torres for example, we're never to live it down.

Surprised we weren't the most hated. I suppose it has to do with the sustained success that United has had in the Premier League era that has made them the most hated.

It doesn't surprise me Liverpool hate us the most. Those deluded mugs think they do football the right way and that we are everything that's wrong with the game.

Liverpool FC represent everything that is wrong with not just football but society as a whole.

I'm a part, part of the 75% meaning, I don't really hate Arsenal, because we always beat them and I enjoy a good banter here or there, but I just can't stand Wenger. His face is so repulsive to me. :D:D:D

We are mutually disliked by everyone, but are rarely the most hated.

Spurs and Arsenal fans hate each other more. Same with the manchester teams with pool etc. Everton hate Pool more etc.

For me i hate Arsenal the most as thier fans are just the absolute worst. Closely followed by Pool, then spurs and United.

The day they stop hating us is the day we stop challenging and beating them a lot. So keep it coming.

About everyone in Germany hates Chelsea. I think that reaches back to when we thrashed Bayern at the Bridge in 2005. For most Germans we are petro-dollar fuelled rich kids who just buy everyone available, haeno soul and only mercenaries, play shit football. Redundant to say that most Germans are blinkered, ignorant imbeciles.

I actually enjoy everyone hating us, it makes us even stronger and closer together. In school, when i was younger I got mobbed for being a nerd and a chelsea fan but then I grew bigger and stronger than all most of classmates it is one of my best ever memories when we won the league in 2010 and esp the CL in 2012 so I could rub it in all their faces. Call me weird but their powerless aggresion and desperate hate gave me such an unique thrill, it was incredible.

As for me, I tend to hate the team that is our main rival most. I hated Utd with passion and now I am hating City most, but not to the same extent probably because they are not as successful. Apart from that I dislike about every team in germany because they are all self-righteous small-time cunts who think they are better than EPL clubs. I don't know why.

@Magic Lamps,Funny. I thought they should be funneling more of their hatred towards 'Buyern'. Absolutely ridiculous how deep their squad is. So deep they can buy up all the German talent and palm it off when they become past their 'use by date'. The stranglehold that Munich has on Germany runs deeper every year. Long gone are the days that Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Stuttgart would lift the championship.

I am so jealous of the team that Munich has. Experience, youth, pace, strength, technique, guile, intelligence and more. Every player offers something unique. If Alaba is suspended, they can play Bernat. If Alonso is injured, they can play Thiago. They have like for like replacements all over the pitch but they all give something different.

I hate Tottenham and Scumpool the most. followed by Leeds,Newcastle and Arsenal then Man U, West Ham and Q.P.R always been that way.

there`s always been a certain level of hate towards us for representing one of the most desirable places to live in England.. they don`t see how diverse the Chelsea fans have always been. they have just seen the famous people in our posh seats. now it`s more jealousy for our on field success...when we were a yo-yo club who could be counted on to pull off an away win at Old Trafford that we would do seemingly at will..to help other teams win the league. how they jumped around their living rooms.

in the days of hooliganism..alot of teams fans originally thought that us supposedly being rich, upper class kids, would be soft and them seemingly having more working class thugs ,expected to roll us over.

with Scumpool they believe they have some devine right to win the league and major domestic trophies..when Man U don`t win a trophy they see themselves as the riteful winners..we really fucked them up by getting in their way..they hated Arsenal in the late 80`s,90`s and up until 2005..now they hate us.

Over here in Colombia people who actually watch the bpl (Not many tbh) seems to hate us, aside from the Chelsea fans. I honestly love the hate, mainly when they say we were founded when the money got in, ignoring the fact that we were actually damn good before that happened. Not the greatest, but good.

I probably hate MU the most.
