Didn't play poorly at all. Quite the opposite, really. We outplayed them for the most part.

Just couldn't finish some easy chances.

Positives: Matic was a beast, Courtois was a wall, CB pairing weren't troubled too much, Willian started well, Cesc grew into the match.

Negatives: Ramires, Ivanovic, our backup strikers, and our general lack of creativity in the final third.

WE NEED A COUPLE OF SIGNINGS STILL! But I doubt we'll make any attacking signings at all so we better get used to this if Hazard and Cesc are struggling.

we almost always lose the community shield and i fucking don't get why we can't get our shit together early on even if it is against a great rival. I fucking hate losing to arseanl and i hate even more that it was so clear from the very beginning we would lose this match and there was never anything we could do about this.

Our midfield cant handle the press at the start of the games. We can only get into games in the second halves when opposing players start getting tired and cant press as hard. Matic and Ramires together in midfield is basically suicide.

Oscar and Zouma should have started. Ramires should be nowhere near our starting XI. Matic has to be faster in attack or should be replaced. Falcao is as good as playing with 10 men and Azpi is probably on his way to being dropped.

Arsenal didn't really look that good either. But Arsene did to Jose what Jose usually does. Scored a goal and then sat back and they defended very well.

At least we played better second half and showed what we can do when we actually play soccer. We blew some clear goals and played bad in first half. Oscar came in and changed the way we play in a great way.

Really poor for large spells but this has been the case since around December. We are desperate for another midfielder to either assist or replace Fabregas when he's not at his best. Ramires is the typical Ramires in that he will work hard but his passing and finishing is ridiculous at times, we should have better. Hazard was invisible today and that completely kills us going forward, Mourinho can't rely on one player to keep digging us out. Remy was poor but the system looked terrible, Falcao the same. We need to strengthen, if we don't we will continue history that the champions who don't strengthen will fail to defend it.
