On the evidence of pre-season, Courtois should have been our starting striker and Begovic couldn't catch a cold.

The grim reality is Courtois absolutely fucked up (deciding to come out was a ridiculous decision, the worst case scenario was that he stays in his goal, stays big, they score, but we keep 11 on the pitch), and Begovic actually made one or two very good saves (the save from Montero was excellent, wonderful ability to be able to reach that high from a low set position in a one-on-one, and the save from Shelvey's mishit corner was an excellent one two. Handling was excellent, some commanding catches and punches. Impressed. New favourite Chelsea goalkeeper.

Some times I just don't really why goalkeepers don't do what you just said. Would be better chasing the winner/deficit with 11 men on the pitch and just 10 because the GK did something stupid.
